Come on out and support RBC Blue Water Days and join the RBC Staff, Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) and Shuswap Trail Alliance Crew tackle the invasive Yellow Flag Iris that is trying to take over the Turner Creek water system. The goal is to get control of this invasive plant before it seeds and spreads even more.  THIS INVASIVE PLANT has made its way to the mouth of Turner Creek into McQuire Lake.  From there it will eventually make its way out to our beautiful Shuswap.

Bring bug spray, sunscreen, garden gloves, garden loppers (work best), pruners, hip waders if you have them, hat, rain pants and jacket and footware that can get wet - rubber boots

CSISS will bring light snacks and refreshments
