Katie/Colin Memorial Trail - South Canoe Location - Salmon Arm - Leaving Salmon Arm head East to HWY 97B and turn right. Go South on 97B for 1km to 10th Ave, and turn left. Follow 10th straight to the end where you will see a gated lot. Park here. Trailhead - Go up the road to the radio tower. Turn left up the road and follow to just before the 4km mark. A road heads off to the right. Follow this road for about 1km, staying right. The road will end and a trail will head straigt off into the trees. Follow this for about 100m. Look for the trailhead to the left Rating - Type - Single-track Length - 3km Description - This trail was built in memory of two local racers who lost their lives in a car wreck, on their way back from a bike race. The trail is mostly downhill, with some short rolly sections. It has quite a few steep technical sections that make this the toughest non-stunt trail in the area.
