Canoe Ball Diamond and Beach Connector

Salmon Arm & Area
Distance: 1.4 km Canoe Store/The Hive to Canoe Beach
Difficulty: Easier
Duration: 20 minutes
Trail Access / Features
Walk / Hike Biking Mountain Biking

Trail Description:

Thanks to the City of Salmon Arm, a new section of gravel capped trail around the back of the Canoe ball diamonds to a solar powered pedestrian light, now creates a direct (and very pleasant) walking/biking route between the Canoe Store, Hive Restaurant, and Seniors Centre all the way to Canoe Beach, without having to walk in traffic along the busy Canoe Beach road. Watch for additional greenway signs to go up next year pointing the way from the Canoe store, but for now, you have to sniff out the super secret greenway connector just south of the Hive Restaurant that cuts through to the Seniors Centre and way quieter residential street linking into the ball diamond trails. (City of Salmon Arm, STA, Canoe Residents)
